A refreshing dessert delight featuring layers of graham cracker crust, cream cheese, mixed berries, and Jell-O.
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (12-ounce) container whipped topping, thawed
- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 2 (3-ounce) packages strawberry Jell-O
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups cold water
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fold in half of the whipped topping until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.
- In another bowl, dissolve the Jell-O in the boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.
- Stir in the cold water and allow the mixture to cool for about 10 minutes.
- Gently fold in the mixed berries.
- Pour the Jell-O and berry mixture over the cream cheese layer in the baking dish.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the Jell-O is fully set.
- Once set, spread the remaining whipped topping over the Jell-O layer.
- Slice into squares and serve chilled.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try adding a tablespoon of lemon juice to the cream cheese mixture.
- You can substitute the mixed berries with other fruits like peaches or cherries for a different twist.
