Description

Elevate your meals with this creamy, tangy, and zesty avocado ranch dressing. Perfect for salads, dips, and sandwiches, this easy-to-make recipe will be a household favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado (peeled and pitted)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise or vegannaise
  • ¼½ cup milk (unsweetened almond or cashew milk recommended)
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 12 Tbsp. fresh dill (or 12 tsp dried dill)
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro
  • ¼½ tsp salt (to taste)
  • ¼½ tsp pepper (to taste)
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Peel and pit the avocado. Measure out the herbs, seasonings, and liquids.
  2. Blend Base Ingredients: In a blender or food processor, combine avocado, mayonnaise, ¼ cup of milk, lime juice, dill, cilantro, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Puree Smoothly: Blend until the mixture is creamy and smooth. Scrape down the sides if needed.
  4. Adjust Taste and Consistency: Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. For a thinner dressing, gradually add more milk, blending after each addition.

Store Correctly: Transfer the dressing to an airtight container. Place plastic wrap directly on the surface before sealing to prevent browning. Refrigerate for 3–4 days

Notes

  • Use fresh herbs for the best flavor.
  • For a vegan version, substitute mayonnaise with vegannaise and use plant-based milk.
  • Adjust lime juice for a tangier taste or add cayenne for some heat.
