Description

Beef and Rotini in Garlic Parmesan Sauce is a creamy, cheesy, and hearty one-pot meal that’s perfect for weeknight dinners or family gatherings. Tender rotini pasta is coated in a rich garlic parmesan sauce with perfectly seasoned ground beef for a dish that’s both comforting and flavorful.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 12 ounces rotini pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

For the Sauce:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Seasonings & Garnish:

  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the Rotini Pasta
    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
    • Add rotini pasta and cook until al dente (8–10 minutes).
    • Drain the pasta, toss with a little olive oil to prevent sticking, and set aside.
  • Brown the Ground Beef
    • Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add ground beef and cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking it up as it browns.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the Garlic
    • Stir minced garlic into the cooked beef and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
    • Be careful not to let the garlic burn.
  • Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce
    • Reduce the heat to low. Pour in the heavy cream and stir.
    • Gradually add grated parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens (about 3–5 minutes).
    • Season the sauce with dried Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), and additional salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine Pasta and Sauce
    • Add the cooked rotini pasta to the skillet with the sauce and beef.
    • Toss until the pasta is evenly coated in the creamy garlic parmesan sauce.
    • If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water to adjust the consistency.
  • Garnish and Serve
    • Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the dish for a vibrant garnish.
    • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan cheese for the best flavor and a smooth sauce.
  • If you want to lighten the dish, use milk instead of cream and thicken with a little cornstarch.
  • For extra richness, add shredded mozzarella or provolone on top and broil until golden.
