Ingredients

  • Olive oil – 1 Tbsp (for cooking the beef)
  • Ground beef – 1 lb (lean beef works best)
  • Yellow onion, diced – ¼ cup
  • Salt – ⅓ tsp (adjust to taste)
  • Black pepper – ⅓ tsp
  • Garlic powder – ⅓ tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce – 1 tsp
  • Ketchup – ½ cup
  • Pickles, diced – ½ cup
  • Bacon, cooked and crumbled – ½ cup (optional)
  • American cheese slices – 4 slices
  • Egg roll wraps – 12
  • Water (cold) – ½ cup (for sealing)
  • Olive oil – ½ tsp (for brushing before air frying)

Dipping Sauce:

  • Mayonnaise – 1 cup
  • Ketchup – ½ cup
  • Worcestershire sauce – 1 tsp
  • Smoked paprika – ½ tsp
  • Black pepper – ⅓ tsp
  • Garlic powder – ½ tsp

Instructions

1.     Prepare the Dipping Sauce:

    • Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, black pepper, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
    • Stir until smooth, then refrigerate until ready to serve.

2.     Make the Cheeseburger Filling:

    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Add ground beef and onions. Cook until beef is browned and onions are soft.
    • Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
    • Stir in ketchup, pickles, bacon, and cheese until cheese melts and the mixture thickens.
    • Let the filling cool slightly.

3.     Assemble the Egg Rolls:

    • Lay an egg roll wrapper flat.
    • Spoon 2 tablespoons of filling onto the center.
    • Moisten the wrapper edges with water.
    • Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tuck in the sides, and roll tightly. Seal the top edge.

4.     Cook the Egg Rolls:

    • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
    • Brush egg rolls with olive oil and arrange in a single layer in the basket.
    • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.

5.     Serve:

Let cool slightly and serve with dipping sauce
