Description

These Peanut Butter Pretzel Magic Bars are the perfect combination of sweet and salty, featuring a crunchy pretzel crust, a creamy peanut butter filling, and a decadent mix of chocolate and peanut butter chips. Easy to make and impossible to resist, they’re great for potlucks, family gatherings, or just a treat for yourself!

Ingredients

Crunchy Pretzel Crust:

  • 2 cups pretzels (crushed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

Rich Peanut Butter Filling:

  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Decadent Topping:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Mix crushed pretzels with melted butter, then press firmly into the pan to form the crust.
  2. Create the Peanut Butter Layer: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt peanut butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips together in 20-second intervals until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract and pour over the pretzel crust.
  3. Add the Magic Topping: Evenly spread the sweetened condensed milk over the peanut butter layer. Sprinkle milk chocolate chips and peanut butter chips on top.
  4. Bake and Set: Bake for 20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Let the bars cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • For a firmer texture, refrigerate the bars for 20 minutes before cutting.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days, in the fridge for 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
