Description

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Shamrock Pretzel Pops, a sweet and salty treat that’s as fun to make as it is to eat! These crunchy, caramel-filled delights combine pretzels, chocolate, and festive green candies to create adorable shamrock-shaped pops. Whether you’re making them for a party, classroom celebration, or just a fun family activity, these easy, no-bake treats will bring a little extra luck to your holiday!

Ingredients

  • 30 mini pretzel twists (gluten-free if needed)
  • 10 pretzel sticks
  • 10 Rolo chocolate caramel candies
  • 10 green candy-coated chocolate buttons (such as M&Ms or Smarties)

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prepare – Preheat the oven to 250°F (130°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Assemble Shamrocks – Arrange the pretzels on the baking sheet:
    • Use 3 mini pretzel twists to form the leaves of the shamrock.
    • Place 1 pretzel stick at the bottom for the stem.
    • Position a Rolo candy in the center where all the pretzels meet.
  3. Melt & Secure – Warm in the oven for 2 minutes, just until the Rolo softens but doesn’t melt completely.
  4. Add Green Center – Remove from the oven and immediately press 1 green M&M into the softened Rolo, flattening it slightly to help secure the pretzels.
  5. Set & Cool – Let the shamrocks cool at room temperature or refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm.
  6. Serve & Enjoy! – Carefully remove from the parchment paper and serve.

Notes

  • For a peanut butter twist, use mini Reese’s cups instead of Rolos.
  • For a white chocolate version, swap Rolos for white chocolate squares and use white chocolate-covered pretzels.
  • To make ahead, store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
